In this 20 month course, you will receive support and instruction for creating your first thobe in accordance with ancestral Palestinian practices. Please see the objectives of the course in the 'About the Course' section. No sewing machine or sewing experience is required.

Learn the best techniques for adorning your hand made pieces and thobe with the stitching style made famous in Bethlehem centuries ago. Explore tahriri stitching throughout the 19th and 20th centuries in Palestine and take your skills from beginner to advanced with both live instruction and pre-recorded tutorials.

Make a toddler to child sized thobe. This course includes instruction for pattern sizes 2T-8 years old. Construction techniques and decorative stitches covered differ from The Thobe Project course to ensure continual learning is supported across all courses. No sewing experience or machine are required.

In this course, learn how to make a Saya belt to beautifully compliment a current thobe project you may be working on or even to add a hint of our beautiful Palestinian heritage to any garment. No sewing machine or sewing experience is required. Materials not included, but a materials kit can be added.
