This is to purchase a seat in the Winter 2026 Offering of The Tahriri Series.  This course is conducted virtually and will meet on Thursday evenings  at 8pm EST/ 7pm CST/ 5pm PST beginning December 3, 2026. For international time zones, please see the note below. 
 
Learn the best techniques for adorning your hand made pieces and thobe with the stitching style made famous in Bethlehem centuries ago. Explore tahriri stitching throughout the 19th and 20th centuries in Palestine and take your skills from beginner to advanced with both live instruction and pre-recorded tutorials. See the full objectives below.
 
Please note - this is not a course for other instructors. I do not permit individuals to take this course and reteach any part of it either in public or private platforms. Thank you for understanding - it has always been my commitment to make this course accessible for all who choose to embark on this journey, not reteach it.

What will this course cover/entail?

Basic to advanced techniques for executing the tahriri stitch in accordance with Palestinian tradition

3 different motifs from different areas of Palestine (one an original, created by me, but influenced by our ancestors!)

7 hours of live instruction in a workshop format where practitioners engage with the skills and receive live feedback

3.5 hours of pre-recorded instructional videos that you can come back to at any point as you build skill in this area of your practice
